The SBVC nursing program accepts applications twice a year. Once in Spring and once in Fall. See below for dates.

Application Process

All students must be active in the registration system. 

Apply to SBVC
Submit High School/GED transcripts showing completion to Admission & Records. There are no exceptions and no substitution for High School/GED transcripts. This includes international secondary completion.

Admissions & Records
Completion of all required prerequisite courses. Final grades must be posted prior to applying.

All prerequisite courses completed outside of SBVC, including Crafton Hills College, require an Evaluation of Prior College Credit. 


To obtain an Evaluation of Prior College Credit, you must submit the following to Admission and Records evals@valleycollege.edu - (OR A&R Office AD/SS-100): 

  • Submit all Official College Transcripts (Please have them either mailed or sent electronically). 
  • Student must have completed all prerequisite courses.
  • If you are using AP credit, official college board results must be on file.  
  • Prior Credit Evaluations will be completed for the nursing program prerequisites ONLY. 
  • Please check the evaluation for courses with an asterisk(*). If so, review notes provided.
  • Evaluation of Prior College Credit Form

Applicants who have completed ALL prerequisites at SBVC ONLY:

Schedule an appointment with a Nursing Counselor , up to 7 days in advance, to have your in-house evaluation done. This is required to submit with your application.

This Zoom workshop is intended for those who are applying to our Nursing program this term. Please register prior to attending. Late admittance not permitted.

The application button is only open during the application time frame of March 15th-March 30th, 2026 & can only be accessed by logging into your SBVC student Office 365 account.

Applicants will be notified of their application status approximately 6-8 weeks after the closing application date. Due to the high volume of inquiries, please do not contact the nursing program regarding your application until the review period is complete.
