Blue's Pantry provides food, hygiene, and other items that become available through our partnership with the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino and Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino for current San Bernardino Valley College students. Blue's Pantry was formed as a campus initiative to provide students with free food options to reduce food insecurity.

Getting Help at Blue's Pantry

Where is Blue's Pantry located?

We are located on the left side of the library and The Den, facing AutoZone on the corner of Mount Vernon and Grant.

What are the hours of operation?


Fall & Spring,Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10am-4pm

How can I get a food bag?

Students must be registered for the current semester. Plan your pick up in advance by using the "Schedule your pick up" link. 

What is provided at the Pantry?

Students can choose between 2 types of food bags once per week:

  • Snack bags include items that are ready to eat as is or with minimal preparation, such as chips, granola bars, cookies, etc.
  • Home bags contain items that require some cooking, such as soup, beans, rice and pasta, as well as frozen/refrigerated items like pizza, waffles and vegetables.

  • If dietary restrictions, please see a Blue's Pantry team member.

Blue's Pantry is only available to currently registered students.
Yes, currently registered students can make an appointment 3 days in advance by clicking the "Schedule your Pantry pick up" link above. 
Students are limited to one (1) visit per week.
Food items vary by week and are pre-selected by our team. If you have any special dietary needs, we will try our best to accommodate.

  • Clothing items are not currently being accepted.
We are currently not offering volunteer opportunities.
Yes. Many locations may be closed on Major Holidays.
