About Applicant Selection

Applicant selection for the SBVC Nursing Program consists of two phases.

  • The first phase is the sum of points from the Multi-Criteria point system.
  • The second phase is the ATI TEAS test, which is invitation-only.
  • All points from Phase 1 & 2 will be combined, and final applicant selections will be made.

Phase 1: Multi-Criteria point system

  • Phase 1 total points without TEAS: 70 maximum
  • Students with the highest total points (80% of applicants) and random selection (20% of applicants) from phase one will be eligible to take the TEAS test or to submit a TEAS score (taken within 1 year of the application close date).
