Whether you work full-time or stay at home raising children, San Bernardino Valley College offers access to the courses you need via the computer.

Taking online classes can be a more economical way to learn about a favorite subject or advance your career goals without setting foot on campus. Some classes may require attendance in person for completion of course requirements.

If you are considering online classes, visit California's Online Education Initiaitive website. They have compiled resources focusing on online student success.  One set of resources deals with readiness.  Are you ready for online learning?  Their set of interactive, multi-media resources will  evaluate your readiness for online learning based on several criteria: basic technical and academic skills; the ability to study independently; good organizational skills; and the willingness to devote the same amount of time and effort as a face-to-face course.

Online classes support SBVC's mission: "San Bernardino Valley College maintains a culture of continuous improvement and a commitment to provide high-quality education, innovative instruction, and services to a diverse community of learners. Its mission is to prepare students for transfer to four-year universities, to enter the workforce by earning applied degrees and certificates, to foster economic growth and global competitiveness through workforce development, and to improve the quality of life in the Inland Empire and beyond."
