Please note that once your application has been processed you will be eligible to enroll at any of our colleges and do not need to submit a separate application for each college

Who needs to apply?

  • All new students (who have never attended SBVC).
  • All returning students (who have not attended SBVC for one semester or more).
  • High school students
  • International students
  • California does not participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA), and therefore we cannot permit out-of-state (students with an out-of-state address) to enroll in our courses.

When can I apply?

  • Anytime, year-round.

What happens after I apply?

  • You will receive 2 emails from SBVC (make sure to check your junk mail).
  • These emails will contain:
    • Your student ID number (SID);
    • Your student email address;
    • Your SelfService username
  • You can then log in to your student email and SelfService, which you will use to register and pay for classes.

Admission Requirements:

To apply, you must:

  • Have a high school diploma/GED OR be 18 years or older *
  • High School Students... see Concurrent Enrollment Guidelines.

*Don't have a high school diploma or GED? Get it at the Inland Career Education Center.
