Spring 2022 Wellness Challenges

One of the biggest drawbacks of remote work – especially when one has to transition into it suddenly, like we did – is the reduction in opportunities for exercise. Many of us had our outdoor walking and jogging routines disrupted and our beautiful campus walking paths were suddenly no longer available for integrating some type of physical activity into our work day.

Help us reach our campus-wide fitness goals!

SBVC Challenge 1: Trek to Wellness (April 1-30, 2022): Congratulations to all participants for reaching for 90 miles in 30 days, or 7,000 steps per day! This is equivalent to walking from SBVC to San Diego.

SBVC Challenge 2: Island Odyssey (May 4 - June 1, 2022): Congratulations to all participants for reaching for 100 miles in 29 days, or 7,500 steps per day! This is equivalent to walking from San Diego to Cabo Punta Banda in Baja California, Mexico.
