What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, like computers, tablets and smartphones, to access and manage your health care away from your healthcare provider’s office. These may be technologies you use from home or that your provider uses to improve or support health care services.

  • Audio capability before, during & after appointment

  • Download https://zoom.us software

  • Create a Zoom Account with SBVC Student Email

Steps to Acquire an Appointment

Counseling services are offered on a “first come first serve basis”. If a student is unable to schedule an appointment due to no available counselors, you will be added to our waiting list. A bilingual Spanish/English speaking counselor is avaible upon request. When a counselor is available, you will be contacted via email or phone. If you need immediate services, please refer to our “Crisis” resource page.

Support Group

Finding Your Calm (PDF flyer). This group will provide students the opportunity to:

  • Discuss & work through their situations

  • Learn more about themselves & others

  • Gain support & feedback

  • Be in an environment that encourages empowerment
