Study ANTH 102 Cultural Anthropology (3 units) in Granada, Spain! This class transfers to CSU and UC as a GE Social Science.

This is a 5-week class held in Summer Session 1 beginning with an in-person class on the SBVC campus for the first three weeks. Then students and faculty will travel together for the last two weeks of class. In Granada, students will have in-person classtime with Professor Keithly and out-of-class experiences of cultural immersion, exploration, and ethnographic skill-building. These include a tour of the Alhambra, an olive oil production experience, day trip to mountain villages, and an Arabic tile-workshop visit. Stay in dorms with kitchenettes and Wifi, go grocery shopping in Granada, and learn about culture like anthropologists do ... through first-hand experience of daily life.

Attend an information session to meet the professor and learn about how to use financial aid for this class, what activities are included in your Granada study, and why study abroad might be the right choice for you. Dates coming soon for information sessions on Zoom and on the SBVC campus.
