If you noticed, the Wolverine Weekly went on "sabbatical" last week.  The Cabinet has been extremely busy finalizing the touches on a reorganization proposal that we will present at College Council on Wednesday.  In addition, we have supported a number of centennial events and the ongoing governance work of the College.

It is an exciting time at San Bernardino Valley College. Last Tuesday, we hosted Coffee with the President's Executive Cabinet in the Applied Technology Building. We presented updates on enrollment, the centennial, Den2Den Housing Program, the Valley Up Initiative, 2025-30, re-organization, and the upcoming SBCCD Olympics.

We enter week 2 following the Labor Day holiday weekend.  Our enrollment for Fall 2025 is 15,713 students and climbing.  The campus is buzzing with energy and excitement.

Welcome to the Fall 2025 semester at San Bernardino Valley College. Today, we are home to 15,177 students and climbing. What an incredible week last week. On Monday, we hosted the President's Welcome Reception for the 16 new faculty. On Tuesday, the College provided adjunct orientation and Wolverine Welcome for students.

Happy Fall 2025 semester! This week has been full of Valley College spirit. On Monday, we provided our new faculty with a warm welcome at the Inaugural President's Welcome Reception for New Faculty.

The Valley Up! The Mountain Leadership Summit was Valley College at its best. Gathering with teammates from classified professionals, faculty, and managers was a real treat, especially when defining our collective priorities.

It has been an exciting month of July. Just last week, I participated in the CEO Leadership Academy and the Rialto Unified School District Unity Summit. Yesterday, we hosted an extremely engaging Coffee with the Cabinet and a recognition BBQ for our football team. We will be recognizing all of our athletics teams this year as they represent us across the state this centennial year.
