Funding Guidelines
Professional development opportunities are available to all members of the SBVC Educational Professional Community (classified staff, faculty, and managers). Funding support, in the form of reimbursement, is available upon submission of requests to the Professional Development Committee.
Important Notes
- Professional Development does not fund international conferences.
- Funding is designated for employees only and does not provide funds for students.
- Requests will be processed in the order they are received, subject to available funding.

Application Review
Understand that SBVC and SBCCD reserve the right to review and approve or deny applications based on available resources.
Fund Availability
Be aware that funds are subject to availability, and eligibility criteria may apply.
Timely Submission
Submit your request at least eight (8) weeks before your planned conference date. Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
