Learning Disabilities Assessment Procedure

If you are experiencing difficulties in meeting the academic demands of the regular vocational and/or academic classes at San Bernardino Valley College, you may request a learning disabilities assessment to determine the source of your learning difficulties.

Learning Disabilities Testing Requirements and Procedures

It is important to note that you must be a current San Bernardino Valley College student. In addition, you must be enrolled in at least one regular academic or vocational class (one unit or more) at San Bernardino Valley College.

Testing will be suspended if:

  • You drop out of class/classes and are no longer enrolled as a San Bernardino Valley College.
  • Have significant absences (3 or more missed appointments/late arrivals)

Learning Disability Assessments do require some in-person appointments. Please make sure your schedule will allow you to come on campus as necessary to complete the assessment.
