Brothers Reaching Out To Help Everyone Reach Success

We are a student centered, solution focused organization moving intentionally and unapologetically towards change and improvement. We are dedicated to improving the college experience, academic success, and career development and connection of/for Black males at San Bernardino Valley College. BROTHERS welcomes the interest and participation of each and every student, faculty/staff, and/or community member that identifies with the struggles faced by Black males in education, and in society in general, and although intentional, we are not exclusive. BROTHERS serves as the A2MEND Student Charter for SBVC.

Our Mission

To instill a sense of brotherhood, community, support and encouragement for all members. To cultivate a spirit of connectedness to bridge generational gaps. Using tools such as:

  • Self Exploration
  • Passion
  • Social-emotional development
  • Goal setting
  • Identifying purpose
  • Full utilization of all available resources and services

Our Values

BROTHERS was created to change the narrative shown of the Black male college student becoming another statistic.

Through encouragement, pride, and accountability, BROTHERS values begins with students partnering with a physical manifestation of themselves.
