What is SBVC Secondary Articulation?

San Bernardino Valley College partners with local high schools, Regional Occupational Programs (ROP), and adult education centers to help students earn college credit while completing their high school program.

Through secondary articulation, high school and ROP teachers can align their course content with SBVC college courses. If the curriculum matches and a student completes the class successfully, they can earn free college credit—without having to repeat the course at SBVC.

This process helps students:

  • Save time and money on college
  • Start career training earlier
  • Transition smoothly into college-level programs

This information is intended for high school and ROP educators and staff coordinating articulation with SBVC. Students and parents, please visit our Dual Enrollment page for student enrollment information.
