College Programs in High School

Early collegeSan Bernardino Valley College offers high school students several unique programs that provide college curricula courses while completing a high school diploma. Students can take classes in career and technical fields as well as classes that may transfer to post-secondary institutions. Our programs offer high school students the opportunity to take college classes, earn certificates, or even complete an associate degree, all while attending high school!   • Early College - A dual-concurrent enrollment program that allows high school students, typically juniors and seniors, petition to enroll in SBVC courses to receive college (and sometimes high school) credit. 
  • GenerationGo! - An innovative program that provides vocational training and work-based learning opportunities to local high school students. Students participating in this program earn a work readiness certificate which guarantees the offer of up to 120 hours of cooperative work experience.
  • Middle College High School - is a program that allows full-time high school students to engage in honors-level coursework on the MCHS campus and take transferable college classes at SBVC every semester, grades 9-12.
