This department is in the division of Academic Success & Learning Services.

Library skills are fundamental to student success, especially in today's information-laden society. The Library Technology courses are part of an associate of arts degree or a certificate program designed for students who are interested in working as paraprofessionals in the library field. Taken alone, each course provides entry-level exposure to a particular library department or function. Presently employed library workers can also take courses to increase their level and variety of training in the library field. Courses for the program are rotated over a two-semester sequence.
