SBVC’s ‘Valley 360 Resource Center’ will be ready to help even more students in the new year. The center now offers nonperishable food, hygiene items, and clothing, and starting in the Spring 2020 semester, will have fresh food and longer hours: Monday through Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. Every week, the resource center gives out between 100 and 150 bags of food, clothing, and hygiene products, and classified professional Amanda Moody said workers often “hear how helpful it is and how it helps students get through the day.”

Every Thanksgiving, the center holds a special luncheon to celebrate the anniversary of its opening. This year, for its second anniversary, 166 students and staff attended the luncheon, which included opportunity drawings and door prizes. Moody addressed the crowd, thanking those who operate the center and continue to support its operations.

Congratulations, SBVC!
