Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program with upper-division courses are responsible for two types of per-unit fees:

Per-Unit Fees (California Residents)

Fee Type

Amount

Applies To

Enrollment Fee

$46 per unit

All students

Upper-Division Fee

$84 per unit

Bachelor’s students only

Total Cost for Bachelor’s Students

$130 per unit ($46 + $84)

The CCPG Fee Waiver can only waive:

  • $46 Enrollment Fee
  • Does NOT cover the $84 Upper-Division Fee

Important:
Even with CCPG, Bachelor’s students must still pay $84 per unit for upper-division coursework.

If you are a non-resident or international student, you must pay:

  • $46 Enrollment Fee (per unit)
  • $84 Upper-Division Fee (per unit)
  • PLUS non-resident tuition and capital outlay fees, if applicable

Current non-resident tuition is approximately: $646 per unit (in addition to the Bachelor’s fees)

Example:

California Resident taking 12 units:

  • $46 x 12 = $552
  • $84 x 12 = $1,008
    Total: $1,560 per semester

With CCPG:

  • $46 portion waived
  • $84 x 12 = $1,008 due

Students may also see standard campus fees, such as:

  • Health Services Fee
  • Transportation Fee
  • Program-specific fees (if applicable)

The upper-division fee is included in your financial aid Cost of Attendance and may be covered by (if eligible):

  • Pell Grant
  • Cal Grant
  • Scholarships
  • Student Loans

Upper-division costs are formally built into SBVC’s Bachelor’s student budget.
