Child Development Center
Located at the corner of Grant and K streets, the Child Development Center is open
to the community and SBVC students with children. The center’s mission is to provide
high-quality child development experiences for children ranging in ages from infant
up to 5-years-old.
It is monitored by the California State Department of Education and California
Department of Social Services, and is subject to child care licensing regulations
established by California’s Department of Social Services for center-based care.
The Child Development Department (different from the Child Development Center) offers academic and vocational programs
for students. The academic program is oriented toward preparing students for Associate
of Arts degrees and continuing on to a four-year university. The vocational program
connects with the academic program to prepare students for immediate employment.
For information regarding child care services please call the Child Development Center
at (909) 384-4440. Office Hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.
