Course Name : BIOL-207

Course Title : Evolutionary Ecology

Course Description : This course is an introduction to the principles of evolution and the ecological processes governing organisms and populations. The course is intended for the pre-professional or biology major. The course requires participation in and completion of a field project and participation in weekend field trips. This course is part of a three-semester sequence in introductory biology for the pre-professional, biology major, or others interested in an in-depth study of biology.

Additional Course Information

Credit Type : Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.

Transferability : Course credit transfers to both CSU and UC.

Prerequisite : BIOL 205 and MATH 095 or eligibility for MATH 102 as determined by the SBVC assessment process and CHEM 150 or CHEM 150H.

Departmental Advisory : ENGL 101 or ENGL 101H or eligibility for ENGL 102 or ENGL 102H as determined by the SBVC assessment process.
