If the department is not holding a meeting- or if the department has questions about the topics below faculty will also have the option to attend open labs anytime during the block in these areas with faculty leads/Committee members:
- Curriculum Open Lab: The deadline for submitting courses that will be effective Fall 2023 is quickly approaching. Courses and/or programs must be approved by the May 9thCurriculum Meeting to be in the Fall 2023 catalog. If you are creating a course or program or modifying one, we can help during the open lab.
- Program Review Drop-In Lab: Get assistance with completing 2021/2022 Needs Assessment Requests and answering questions on the status of Program Efficacy, 2-Year CTE Reports, and EMP Sheets.
- SLOs/Outcomes: Need help with your SLOs/PLOs/SAOs? Let’s talk about how to write, assess, and evaluate your area’s outcomes. Drop in any time during the SLO/PLO/SAO lab to get your questions answered.
- Honors: Are you interested working with students to the fullest of their abilities? Then teaching "Honors Students" may be your thing! Come ask questions, make suggestions, and learn more about what it takes to teach Honors classes at SBVC.
Prep time for the transition to remote/online classes and services.
