Honors is more than just academic achievement; it is academic achievement through the highest standards of academic integrity and intellectual honesty.

The Center for Academic Integrity has identified six key values of true academic communities:

  • Honesty
  • Fairness
  • Trust
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Courage

As members of our academic community, honors students should practice these values and embody them in their academic, social and professional lives.

Honors students caught in acts of cheating, fabrication, plagiarism, misrepresentation, or assisting others in commiting these violations, will be expelled from the Honors Program.
