UPDATE: Applications will open beginning September 1st to September15th 2021 for the Psych Tech program. Application will be accepted by MAIL ONLY: 701 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. San Bernardino Ca. 92410. Please submit your application with a copy of your transcripts for completed prerequisites (unofficial for SBVC & Crafton only, official high school transcripts, official transcripts from any outside educational institution), as well as any other documentation you would like the committee to consider. The last day to submit the request form for the transcripts evaluation of “Prior College Credits Earned” for the Psych Tech Program for Fall 2021 is pending. 
The Psychiatric Technology program is a one-year vocational program that prepares students to work with emotionally, mentally and developmentally disabled clients in a variety of community agencies. The Psychiatric Technology program prepares students to take the California Psychiatric Technician licensing examination. Students may also choose to earn an Associate Degree. The Psychiatric Technology program is accredited by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
