Dr. Jack Jackson

Greetings.  I am Julius Jesse Jackson, Jr.  Most people call me "Jack," though.  There is a very long story about my name, but I won't bore you with it here.  I am a Professor and the Faculty Chair in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at SBVC, and I have taught just about every class in the department.  California Community Colleges are exciting places to teach and learn.  I am happy to be here.  Hopefully, you are too.  


Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Syracuse University (Syracuse, New York)

M.Div. in Theology and Ethics from Duke Divinity School (Durham, North Carolina)

B.A. in Religious Studies from Alma College (Alma, Michigan)
