The uniqueness of the Foods and Nutrition program is that the subject matter is applicable to a career as well as to the quality of life.

Overview

The department offers certificates in:

Dietetic Aide, which prepares students for entry-level employment in dietetics, assisting dieticians in the provision of food service and nutritional programs

Dietetic Service Supervisor, which prepares students to meet the California Department of Health Licensing Requirements
