Child Development AA Degree

To graduate with a specialization in Child Development, students must complete the following required courses plus the general breadth requirements for the Associate Degree (minimum 60 semester units). The degree contains the core eight courses needed for transfer and the necessary course work to be a qualified early childhood educator. Students completing the degree will qualify for the unit and course requirements necessary to apply for the California State Child Development Teacher Permit.
