- 13 week class from 09/15/26 to 12/15/26.
- This is a HYBRID class. This means that there are both on-campus and online Internet activities required. To participate in this class you must attend all scheduled on-campus classes and have access to a computer that has a reliable internet connection. Students should access http://online.valleycollege.edu during the week prior to the semester start date. All information regarding this class, including course-specific technology requirements, will be found on that webpage. The course may not be accessible to students until the first day of the class.

Instructor Comments :
•This online course requires a minimum of 4 hours per week for lecture. Plan for additional time to practice vocabulary and grammar.
•This course requires students to have access to internet services and the use of a laptop, desktop, tablet or robust smart device to participate fully in the course.
•ASL is a visual language and students will be required to participate with video recordings throughout the course.
•This course is fully online with no pre-set times for lectures. All course materials will be posted on a weekly basis within Canvas and assignments, activities, exams, etc. will be due by the end of each week. Details on the posting schedule are included in the Canvas shell and course syllabus.
•Students may be required to meet “live” with the instructor. All “live” sessions will be conducted via Zoom and will be pre-arranged well in advance and options for meeting times will be varied and vast to allow students plenty of options to meet their schedule.
•This is a Zero Textbook Cost course, meaning there is no textbook to be purchased. All materials will be provided by the instructor within the course itself.
