  • The DE-LEC part of this class requires 6.75 hours per week of online instruction.
  • 8 week class from 10/07/24 to 12/02/24.
  • This is a fully online class. Students will be required to complete online instructional content via Canvas. This class could offer some live online meetings, but students will have options on accessing that content. Students should log on to Canvas the first day of class to access classes. *All web-enhanced, hybrid, synchronous, and asynchronous courses include and select as needed the following student tasks utilizing the SBVC Canvas Learning Management System:

1. submit assignments,
2. complete assessments (quizzes & exams),
3. participate in discussion boards,
4. watch videos & Zoom recordings,
5. listen to audio recordings,
6. read content pages,
7. review PowerPoints & other informational slides,
8. read curated articles & online or physical textbooks,
9. read messages from the instructor via Canvas Inbox,
10. communicate with professor & classmates via Canvas Inbox,
11. receive and read announcements,
12. review grades, rubrics, and feedback.

Web-enhanced & Hybrid courses will require in-person, face-to-face attendance and weekly participation in the Canvas LMS (*as stated above).

Synchronous courses will require in-person video attendance [with cameras on] through apps like Zoom and weekly participation in the Canvas LMS (*as stated above).
