Welcome to the world of Health, Safety, and Nutrition (CD 115). Within each semester we journey through the interdependence of these three concepts in the context of children, families, and communities.

In this course you will be engaged in conversations and activities that are intended to expand your view of how you impact these concepts within your interactions with others. This includes, but is not limited to, exploring perspectives and cultural differences, developing practices effectively support continuous partnerships and communication, and researching applicable regulations and standards to support the well-being of children and their families.

I am excited to serve as your guide through this content and assist in your further understanding of these influential factors in children�s ongoing development and learning.
