Welcome to the spring 2024 semester! I teach on-campus and online Environmental Science Lecture, Physical Geography Lecture, and Laboratory classes this semester. On-campus classes occur in the PS 221 and PS 229 classroom and online classes utilize Canvas: https://sbccd.instructure.com and Zoom: https://sbccd-edu.zoom.us/my/theibel.

I am teaching five full-term (17-week) classes that begin during the week of 16th January:

1) GEOG 110-01: Physical Geography Lecture – Meets in PS 221 on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 9:15 am,
2) GEOG 110-02: Physical Geography Lecture – Meets in PS 221 on Monday from 9:35 am to 12:40 pm,
3) GEOG 110-70: Physical Geography Lecture – Meets asynchronously online using Canvas,
4) GEOG 111-01: Physical Geography Laboratory – Meets in PS 221 on Wednesday from 9:35 am to 12:25 pm, and
5) GEOG 111-70: Physical Geography Laboratory – Meets asynchronously online using Canvas.

I am teaching two short-term (14-week) classes that begin during the week of 13th February:

1) ENVSCI 100-01: Introduction to Environmental Science Lecture – Meets in PS 229 on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:10 am to 1:00 pm, and
2) GEOG 111-05: Physical Geography Laboratory – Meets in PS 221 on Thursday from 1:15 pm to 5:05 pm.

If you are registered for any of these courses, then they will appear within your Canvas dashboard. All ENVSCI 100-01, GEOG 110-01, GEOG 110-02, GEOG 111-01, and GEOG 111-05 lecture and lab classes are simulcast using Zoom. The Zoom link is https://sbccd-edu.zoom.us/my/theibel.

Optional weekly student hour meetings are scheduled at the following times:

1) Tuesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in PS 113 and via Zoom: https://sbccd-edu.zoom.us/my/theibel, and
2) Wednesday from1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in PS 113 and via Zoom: https://sbccd-edu.zoom.us/my/theibel.

Optional Physical Geography tutoring is scheduled as follows:

1) Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in the STEM-MESA Center (PS 221): https://www.sbvcstem.org.
