This is a HYBRID class. This means that there are both on-campus and online Internet activities required. To participate in this class you must attend all scheduled on-campus classes and have access to a computer that has a reliable internet connection. Students should access http://online.valleycollege.edu during the week prior to the semester start date. All information regarding this class, including course-specific technology requirements, will be found on that webpage. The course may not be accessible to students until the first day of the class. This section is linked with MATH 608 section 109 as a part of a learning community. This means that students enrolling in MATH 108 section 109 MUST ALSO ENROLL IN MATH 608 section 109.

This hybrid course will begin on Tuesday, January 16. On that day, course information, including the syllabus, will be discussed in class. To participate in this course, a MyLab Statistics Student Access Code is required. Please DO NOT purchase or order an access code. This semester you will be receiving a free access code through the college’s Books+ Program. You will be emailed details regarding this as we get closer to the beginning of the term.

NOTE: In order to complete this course, you much use Excel, which is available for free to all students through Office 365. Information about acquiring a free copy will be sent out to all students before the beginning of class.
