Instructor Comments :
Welcome to the brave new world of hybrid history! Hope you like reading, writing, and thinking, because we'll be doing a lot of those things. Survivors of this class report that it was more work than they expected, but also more enjoyable and rewarding. We'll see what you think about that (and about lots of other things).

This class involves doing things together in the classroom once a weekly, as well as doing things individually online on a weekly basis.

Our textbook is available as a free online text : World History, Vol. 2:From 1400, by Ann Kordas et al. OpenStax 2022.
You can access/download the textbook at this website:
https://openstax.org/details/books/world-history-volume-2
If you wish to have a hard copy of the book, the website above has a link to purchase through Amazon.

Watch your campus email -- I will be sending out mailings to enrolled students in the week or two before the official class start date of February 7.
Our first in-person meeting will be on Wednesday February 7 at 2:20 pm, in NH 251 (Second floor of North Hall)
