  • The DE-LEC part of this class requires 1 hours per week of online instruction.
  • The DE-LAB part of this class requires 3 hours per week of online instruction.
  • This is a fully online class. Students will be required to complete online instructional content via Canvas. This class could offer some live online meetings, but students will have options on accessing that content. Students should log on to Canvas the first day of class to access classes. Architectural History Courses ARCH 145 & 146

Students are NOT required to purchase the text. You will be expected to read and will be using a reading materials / text made available through the course site at no cost.

Architecture History 146-70 TUESDAY 10-16 will be held in PS 217. Physical Science building on the SBVC Campus.

1:30 to 2:30 pm in PS 217 in the Physical Sciences Building
(near the art building on the north side of campus)

The Architectural History Courses transfer and satisfy the
Humanities requirements for AA, AS, BA, BS degrees.

Past students have indicated that the orientation meeting is extremely helpful.

You are not required to attend.
You strongly encouraged to attend especially if this is your first on-line course.

The orientation sessions for the on-line courses will be:
� Meeting in room PS 217 (Physical Sciences Building) on the San Bernardino Valley College Campus for a 90 minute session.

Students wanting to add must attend the orientation - you will be considered only after attending an orientation session

� This is the only campus meeting for online courses.
� Please bring any questions you have; I will stay until all questions have been answered.

� You will receive a demonstration of the course activities
� Meet the instructor
� View the course as it should operate on your computer
� Receive 1 packet of worksheet materials

Course Support: OPTIONAL OPEN LAB is provided in PS 217 providing computer and instructor support during the Fall and Spring Semesters. You may access the computer lab on a space available basis at the discretion of the evening Architecture Instructors teaching in PS 217. You are not required to attend this lab - this is an open opportunity for you to access computers or instructor support if necessary.

Students interested in adding the course should attend the orientation.

ADD PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO STUDENTS who attend the orientation.
Students on the wait-list and attending the orientation will have first priority over those on the wait-list that do not attend the orientation. If courses are full and closed at this time but openings may become available as students are dropped as no shows in the first week.

If you are enrolled in the course and - If you do not sign in to the on-line course, attend the orientation or complete the self in introduction the first week of class - you may expect to be dropped. I will pass your opportunity to participate in the class to someone who is ready to be active in the course.
