  • The DE-LEC part of this class requires 10.8 hours per week of online instruction.
  • 5 week class from 06/01/20 to 07/01/20.
  • This is an ONLINE class. To participate in this class you must have access to a computer that has a reliable internet connection. Students should access during the week prior to the semester start date. All information regarding this class, including course-specific technology requirements, will be found on that webpage. The course may not be accessible to students until the first day of the class, Monday, June 1, 2020.

Welcome to the summer 2020 semester! Fall 2020 semester information will updated upon the conclusion of my summer semester GEOG 110 and 111 sections (after Wednesday, 1st July).

I am teaching two summer semester courses during the first session (Monday, 1st June through Wednesday, 1st July):

1) GEOG 110: Physical Geography Lecture, and
2) GEOG 111: Physical Geography Laboratory.

Both courses will be conducted online via Canvas. If you are registered for one or both of these courses, then they will appear as GEOG-110-10 and GEOG-111-10 within the Canvas dashboard.

You will can access Canvas many ways, including:

1) On the SBVC homepage (, click on the "Log In" link (upper-right portion of the homepage) and select "Canvas" from the drop-down list.
2) Type directly into your favorite web browser.
3) Download the Canvas student app onto your phone and/or mobile device and use it to log into and access all Canvas resources.

I'll follow up with additional class meeting and office hour information. All class meetings and office hours will occur using the ConferZoom application. The ConferZoom URL is and the password is latitude
