  • Participation in this ONLINE course requires that students have access to a computer with a high speed Internet connection. Purchase of a Student Access Code is required and will give you access to an ebook. Purchase of a textbook is not necessary. Students should access for course information. Registered students should check Canvas for further instructions during the week prior to the course start date. The actual course may not be accessible until the first day of the class.

Please consider carefully whether this online class is the right class for you.

To succeed in an online class you must be self-motivated and you must be able to manage your time well. You need to be able to study on your own from pencasts, videos, tutorials and textbook contents. You must be able to read all material, documents and announcements for the course and keep up with the timeline provided by in our course calendar. You will need to spend at least 15 hours per week studying for this summer course.

You also need to have unhindered access to your own computer that has a high speed internet connection and be able to download all of the necessary plug-ins from the course website.

You will need to purchase an Access Code (at most $100) within the first few days of the course start date (There is a grace period given by the company. Students can enroll without paying initially, but will be required to pay within 14 days to continue accessing the course site). All students must be registered into the computer element of the course or they will be dropped from the class in order to accommodate additional students.

The final exam will be given on campus on the last day of the course. Each student will need to bring his/her student photo ID.

These online courses are not hosted on Blackboard.
