Instructor Comments :
Spring 2018 ONLINE STUDENTS MUST LOG-IN AND POST AN INTRODUCTION IN CANVAS BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON FRIDAY 2/9/18. THIS IS A SPRING SEMESTER COURSE THAT BEGINS ON MONDAY 2/9/18 AND RUNS UNTIL FRIDAY 5/18/2018.

This ONLINE class requires regular participation via discussions, assignments, and exams--failure to consistently submit required work on time will make success in this class very difficult. Therefore, students who do not participate in the course each week may be dropped.

You should aim to have the textbook several days before the class begins! The primary textbook for this course is Our Origins: Discovering Physical Anthropology, 3rd Ed., Clark Spencer Larsen. I will provide other supplemental readings in Canvas.

Students must own a computer with internet connection, and be able to purchase the textbook for this course. Often public computers are not compatible with the online exams in this class.

You can call campus tech support for help with any issues you encounter using Canvas: 909-384-4357. Also, once in Canvas, you may click the "Help" icon in the main menu for additional user support resources.
