  • Participation in this class will consist of online interaction. Students must have access to a computer that has a reliable internet connection. Students should access http://online.valleycollege.edu during the week prior to the semester start date. All information regarding this class, including course-specific technology requirements, will be found on that webpage. The course may not be accessible to students until the first day of the class, Monday, September 18, 2017.

SPRING 2017

This is a twelve week course beginning 2/27.

This course will be taught online with no on-campus meetings. Students must have access to a computer with an internet connection that allows you to stream video.

Students must have the required text book by March 3rd. Those who do not have the required text book by March 3rd will be dropped from the class. Our required textbook is Introduction to Sociology 2e (OpenStax). This book can be purchased at the bookstore at the beginning of the semester or downloaded at https://openstax.org/details/books/introduction-sociology-2e

There will be an introductory assignment that is due on March 3rd. Students who have not completed this assignment by the due date will be dropped from the class.

Registered students should check Blackboard one week before class begins for announcements, information, and directions for the introductory assignment.
