Instructor Comments :
Be familiar with Blackboard. Here are tutorials on submitting assignments:

Format submissions in Word or PDF. (I prefer Word, which makes commenting more interactive). Here are tutorials:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1wZsvUzA0g

Login on the first day. On the navigation panel, click on "Lessons," then click on Module 1 "Build a Community of Writers," and click on "Week 1. Greetings." Read the instructions to the first submission and submit by the end of Wednesday, January 18.

Students who do not submit the post by the end of Wednesday, January 18, will be considered "no shows." No show students will be dropped from the class, and their seats will become available to the students from the Waitlist. Qualifying student outside of the Waitlist will be added only if there are no positive responses from the wait-listed students.

Please have a daily access to a working computer and the Internet. Here is the link to the technology requirements:

Please notice that the Help Desk is your primary resource in figuring out computer issues. They are my primary resource as well.

I wish us all a good semester.
