What is the Reading Lab?

The Reading Lab is a multi-faceted component of the Reading and Study Skills Department. Students enrolled in Read 920, 950, and 015 are required to complete lab assignments designed to improve comprehension, vocabulary, and study skills through individualized and computer assisted instruction.

The Reading Lab provides:

  • one-on-one tutoring
  • workshops
  • instructional print material
  • reading software
  • general assessments using standardized reading tests

The lab is located in the Liberal Arts building, room 206.
The lab is open 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
