Directions and Accessibilty

High Tech Center has a campus location for students with disabilities to learn new skills for the use of assistive computer technology. We support Universal Design for Learning to provide  equal access for education and information.

All students with a disability that are accepted into the Disabled Student Programs and Service (DSPS) are eligible to use the High Tech Center. Prior to being accepted in the DSPS you may use the HTC for support on Registration and Financial Aid application process.

Our services include...


•    Helping students transition to college with help on Registration and Financial Aid application

•    Access to Assistive Technology

•    Tutoring Services (both group and individual as accommodations require) of Assistive Technology

•    Alternate Media Conversion (Getting textbooks recorded, Braille, other formats, etc.)

•    Alternate Media Complementary Conversion(Classroom print materials into electronic text, Braille, large print, etc.)

•    Arranging for special testing accommodations such as extended time, test conversion with use of Assistive Technology

•    Accessible classroom furniture (ergonomic chair, height adjustable table, accessible keyboards, etc.)
