Course Title : Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children

Course Description : This course is an examination of underlying theoretical principles of developmentally appropriate practices and teaching strategies in supporting physical, social, creative and intellectual development of all young children.

Credit Type : Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.

Transferability : Course credit transfers to CSU.

Departmental Advisory : ENGL 015 or eligibility for ENGL 101 or ENGL 101H as determined by the SBVC assessment process.
