Course Name : NURS-104

Course Title : Medical-Surgical Nursing I

Course Description : This first level medical-surgical nursing course focuses on alterations in integumentary, immunological, metabolism, reproduction and musculoskeletal subsystems and how the nursing process is used to assist clients to maintain their optimum level of wellness. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED PROGRAM PREREQUISITES AND HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE NURSING PROGRAM.

Credit Type : Earned units for this course are applicable to an Associate Degree.

Transferability : Course credit transfers to CSU.

Prerequisite : NURS 102.

Corequisite : NURS 108.
