Course Name : POLICE-002
Course Title : Basic Law Enforcement Academy
Course Description : Basic training for new Law Enforcement Officers including administration of justice, patrol procedures, firearms, defensive tactics, physical training, First Aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), traffic investigation, water safety, and driver training. ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO MEET STATE SCREENING REQUIREMENTS AS OUTLINED IN THE GOVERNMENT CODE, CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE AND THE COMMISSION ON PEACE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING ADMINISTRATIVE MANUAL.

Corequisites : POLICE 100, POLICE 101, POLICE 102 and POLICE 103.
