Course Title : Penal Code 832
Course Description : This course will familiarize students with training in various Law Enforcement functions. These functions include but are not limited to the history, professionalism, and ethics of Law Enforcement, the criminal jusice system, criminal law, laws of arrest, search and seizure, use of force, firearms, and crimes against the justice system. LIMITATIONS ON ENROLLMENT: REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING STATE SCREENING REQUIREMENTS: POSSESSION OF A VALID CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS OTHER THAN REQUIRED EYEGLASSES OR CONTACT LENSES AND POSSESSION OF A CURRENT LETTER OF CLEARANCE ISSUED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE THAT CERTIFIES THE RIGHT TO BE IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM.
