Who is Eligible to Serve?
Any currently registered student at San Bernardino Valley College is eligible to serve.
Annual ASG elections are held for students that are interested in serving on the executive board or as one of the twelve elected or appointed ASG Board of Director positions.
Students who are interested in serving on the ASG Board of Directors must be registered in 5 units or more, have a current ASB Discount Sticker and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
In addition to the ASG Board of Directors positions students may apply throughout the year to serve on various committees including the ASG Campus Center, Finance and Publicity committees.

How Do I Get Involved?
Stop by the Office of Student Life located in the Campus Center and ask to speak with a Student Goverment represenative.
At the Office of Student Life you can pick up an application to join AS or be on a district or college committee. For those on committees, you are a liaison for AS and need to give a report at AS meetings as appropriate.
Student elections are in the Spring and vacancies are filled on an application and interview basis.
