Alpha Gamma Sigma, Delta Chapter
Alpha Gamma Sigma is the California Community College Scholastic Honor Society established in 1926 by Dr. William T. Boyce, Head Administrator of Fullerton Junior College. The function of this state organization is to encourage local chapters to develop programs offering cultural and social experiences as part of the total experience of community college students. At its annual convection, AGS awards scholarships to members who excel in academics, community service, or both.
The mission of this Chapter to foster, maintain, and recognize outstanding scholarship, as well as promote cultural and social enrichment. AGS provides students the opportunity to engage in community service activities and aims to award scholarships to its active members.
AGS Members do not only excel in academics, but also attend and host social events and participate in community service activities.
