Charles D. "Chuck" Obershaw graduated from SBVC in 1950 and owned Chuck Obershaw Toyota in San Bernardino for many years. He has given many college scholarships to local high school graduates over the years. Among his community contributions: past president of the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce.

Charles D. "Chuck'' Obershaw is the former owner and CEO of Chuck Obershaw Toyota in San Bernardino. Obershaw, a 1950 SBVC graduate, was named one of 23 living legends in the community at the Assistance League of San Bernardino's 36th annual Headdress Ball. Obershaw is past president of the San Bernardino Motor Car Association, past president of the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce, and past president of the U.S. Air Force Association. Obershaw, a San Bernardino High School graduate, enjoys giving college scholarships to local high school graduates. His motto:  "Those who have prospered from the system should put back into the system.'' His auto dealership received the Import Auto Dealer of Distinction award from the Sports Illustrated American International Auto Dealers Association. He served in the 187th Paraglider Infantry in the Pacific during World War II and received the Patrick Henry Medallion for Patriotic Contributions. Chuck and his wife, Shelby, live in San Bernardino. They have five children.
