The scholarship students that have the best results are those who utilize all of the support services that the campus has to offer, especially the scholarship workshops. Workshops are scheduled throughout the year and are usually 1-2 hours in length. They focus on specific aspects of the scholarship application process including:

Power point presentations from past workshops will also be available for your reference in the future. Workshops that indicate Open to Public are open with no RSVP necessary. Workshops that indicate a contact or are scheduled for a specific group will be available to other students on a "space available" basis. Contact the person listed or email the SBVC Scholarship Office to schedule a workshop for your club, group or department.

The following workshops are tentatively scheduled for the SPRING semester, and are updated regularly:
Feb. 22nd - Wed. 10:00 - 12:00 noon DSPS Resources for Outside Scholarships - Full 2 Hour Workshop covering the outside scholarship process in great detail. Perfect for first time applicants or students who have only completed the Inside Scholarship Application. This workshop will take place in the NEW DSPS Technology Lab in LA 105.
