There ARE scholarship applications available for everyone!
Scholarship critieria is often set to the specific interests or wishes of a particular donor who wants to encourage a certain type of student to apply. The Scholarship Office tries to locate applications that open the door for populations that have had barriers or traditionally have experienced a lack of access to funding or higher educational opportunities.
Over the next few months, you can visit this webpage to find scholarships for gender or sexual orientation related organizations including:
- Scholarships for Women
- Scholarships for Men
- Scholarships for GLBT Community
Although these organizations may have a focus on certain populations, unless the critieria specify that others cannot apply, the Scholarship Office recommends that any interested student submit an application.
