The dream of education brings all people together!
The SBVC Scholarship Office is committed to supporting students from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds and assisting them with access to higher education. We make it a priority to search and identify scholarships that meet the diversity needs of our student population. The Scholarship Office also provides information on scholarships for AB540 students and non-english speaking students. The campus has been identified as a Hispanic Serving Institution based on the surrounding community which also makes students eligible for special scholarships under that category.
Over the next few months we will be adding links to scholarship applications under the following categories:
- Latino, Chicano and Hispanic Scholarships
- Black and African American Scholarships
- Asian, Pacific Islander and Eastern Scholarships
- Native American, Alaskan Native and Indigenous Scholarships
- Multi-racial Scholarships
- European (Irish, German, English Heritage) Scholarships
Please remember that although scholarship titles may fall under these categories, it does not necessarily mean the criteria limits applicants to only these groups. If a scholarship does not specify that only one ethnic group can apply, we encourage all eligible to students to submit an application.
