The San Bernardino Valley College Scholarship Office is here to help students find, apply and complete scholarship applications to support their continuous success at SBVC. This new website has been designed with the needs of new, returning and transferring students in mind. Most scholarship opportunities fall into one of two categories, Inside or Outside scholarships. In order to maneuver the scholarship process you need to understand the difference between the two types of scholarships. You can find detailed information about both types by selecting the menu items on the right. You can also view the Inside/Outside Scholarship Information flyer, which summarizes both for you.

The SBVC Online Scholarship application will be open again next October 2012 - January 2013. This inside application includes over 100 scholarships which are combined into ONE online application. To learn more information read through the section for "Inside Scholarships" including the Application Overview, Personal Statement, Letters of Recommendation, Where to Get Help and After You Apply.
Award announcements for scholarship applicants will be sent to your STUDENT EMAIL as an invitation to the May 2012 Award Ceremony. While you are waiting to hear or if you missed the Inside Application period, please try your luck with Outside Scholarships which are available year round depending on your own individual student characteristics and each application's scholarship criteria.
