Scholarship Updates and Information
Most scholarship opportunities fall into one of two categories, Foundation or Outside scholarships. In order to maneuver the scholarship process you need to understand the difference between the two types of scholarships. You can find detailed information about both types by selecting the menu items on the right.
We encourage students to research outside scholarhips for additional educational funding. Get started by selecting the Outside Scholarship link on the right.
Students with Outside Scholarship checks or enrollment verification forms should come into the Financial Aid Office for assistance in order to receive their scholarship funds from other schools and agencies. They need to clearly state that they have already received an Outside Scholarship and are not applying for a scholarship.
SBVC Online Scholarship Application
The SBVC Foundation Scholarship application closed on January 23, 2013. Students who are selected to receive a scholarship will receive an email notification in late March or early April. The SBVC Online Scholarship Application will open again in October 2013.
